Helsinki-Vantaa airport is the closest one, from there you can take the train to the city center, and then to Karjaa. You can also buy the train ticket straight from the airport to Karjaa, changing train once in Pasila (a station just before Helsinki city centre).

You can take a ferry from Tallin (Estonia) to Helsinki, it takes around 2 hours and costs 20-30€.
Ferries from Stockholm (Sweden) to Helsinki or Turku take around 10 hours and cost 40-70€.
There's also a ferry from Travemunde (Germany) to Helsinki.
The train can be taken from Helsinki to Karjaa (Karis), and it takes about 1 hour. Make sure to contact us well in advance before you arrive, so we can arrange to pick you up at the train station. If it´s possible, please arrive during daytime.
On weekdays, the first train to leave Helsinki to go to Karjaa/Karis is at 5h28, last one is at 21h06. The other way round, the first one to go to the capital is at 6h28 and last one at 21h58. There is a train almost every hour.
During the weekend, it's the same schedule except for the first train from Karjaa/Karis to Helsinki, it's at 8h28. And there is no train every hour, it depends on the time.
You can also easily go to / come from Turku by train, 1 hour away.

🚲 You can borrow a bike to go to Karjaa, it takes around 30 minutes.
🚗 It is possible to rent a car at cost price, and only after doing a driving test with us.
🚌 There is a bus stop less than 5 minutes away from the hub (Meltola, Raasepori). On the weekdays (= schooldays, some also during summer holiday season) buses go to either Karjaa and Lohja. You can check the timetables on the official website or here.
Buses are reliable, but sometimes they can run a little bit late, or come a couple of minutes in advance, so don't plan your schedule too tight, to catch a train, for example.
It costs 3,40€ when you buy the ticket from the driver (you can pay by card and cash) or 3,20€ if you get the Bosse app (don't buy the ticket in advance from Matkahuolto, it's more expensive).
The place is surrounded by nature, perfect for walks through the woods, or swimming in the nearby lake. You can book horse riding lessons on site, or just pass by our stables to say hi to our furry friends: Lumi (Snow) and Tähti (Star), our two joyous sheep, and Valo, Nikke and Rico, the three horses.
The nearest town is Karjaa (Karis), 10 minutes away, where you can find shops, cafés and restaurants, banks, etc. There are also activities and things to see and do in the region, like visiting the charming village of Fiskars, shop at different flea markets, spend time at the seaside town Tammisaari (Ekenäs), etc.
From Karjaa, it's easy to take buses or trains to visit different places and cities, including Helsinki and Turku, both 1 hour away.
And if you like skiing, Finland's southernmost ski hill Påminne is 10 minutes away from the Hub.
